Hello soccer

I joined my company's soccer team a few weeks ago. My previous match would date back to my university years. The soreness after match was unbarable but it's a mark of my first sports since.... since a long long time ago.

Back in my St Patrick's high school day, my mate and I headed straight to the soccer field on recess and lunch time. I played in the right back position, sometimes at striker role. My skills.. hah.. were bad enough but still it didn't ruin my enjoyment. Skillfully I was quite good at man-marketing... and I remembered scoring from a few corners.

The match on wednesday we lost 3-0. As a left-back, I played alright and I am getting better with my positioning.... shame on my stamina.. I am so easily running out of gas after a few quick sprints...

CNY Doggy Year + Macau Trip

My sister Wendy and brother-in-law Jacky joined our CNY celebration in Hong Kong. It has been years since Wendy enjoys lai-see-ing... Uncle Bobby returned for good. It's, finally, a round up gang for grandma Li.

On CNY day marks the first official dinner with Seaze's family. I hope they do like me coz I will soon be their son-in-law.

The most surprising thing: a family one day trip to Macau, my 3rd time across the "big sea" in the past 12 months. We re-visited the place where I had, so bad-luck-ly, dropped my wallet while leaving a taxi. The new fishermen wherf seems remarkable though it had more shops than feature attractions.

My dad will turn 60 in October.... mum's retiring too... it will be a year of changes...
