World Cup Fever + Cars

World Cup is over. Zidane headbutted that Italian guy. Who insulted whom? who knows... but it certainly extend the world cup fever by a week.

And it caught me! Assigned to a ghost-related project and all in a sudden I felt like weak and sick for 2 days. Royce gave me red pocket for some comfort. Funny enough my layout wasn't scary at all. Jerry joked I am too scared to draw my fear. I suspected the cause was related to: a) World Cup; and b) the project I spend over-nighting for the previous 2 weeks that eventually got pending.

Over the weekend I saw Cars, the PIXAR's animated feature. Funny enough it's already 10 years since Toy Story. Remembered the year 10 self saw both Poccahontus and Toy Story in 1995: I barely stand the first one but fell in love with the latter. The emotion tighted in even further with its sequal, which I went with, then only a friend, my now-fiance Seaze.

Critics said Cars was not as emotional or educational as previosu Pixar's movies. I say not. This movie can fairly related to those saw Toy Story when they were only 10-12 years old kids. For those now in their early 20s, and I believe also there are the arrogant and selfish bastard years, it would strikes them with the right moral in preparing for the real-world. Learn from the elders, accepting failures and be brave for changes: Very similarly to what I felt when I re-saw Star Wars back in 1997.

Anyway, enough said, check out my latest flickr photos @
